Upside Down Food Pyramids

As a result of turning food pyramid upside down, we have so many chronic diseases.
What are chronic diseases? these are those diseases that we might not escape before we die. i.e natural death.
This happen to us earlier than normal as a result of poor diet, some of this chronic diseases are:
  1. Diabeties
  2. Hearth diseases e.g 
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Hypertension
  • Heart attack/ cardiac arrest
  • stoke
     3.  Cancer
     4. Arthritis

 DIABETES 
What causes diabetes? Excess of sugar in the blood .
in our blood we have what is called pancreas which produces insulin to regulate our body sugar but if the sugar becomes too much for the insulin it will break it down there by causing diabetes.

To escape diabetes, we need to fix our diet by not eating too much carbohydrate and strch related foods.

 Types of Diabetes

Type1: The body does not produces any insulin because of hormonal in balence, people with diabetes type1 must take insulin to stay alive,

Type2: The body does not produce any insulin because the pancreas has broke down, making it difficult to control the blood sugar or to utilize the sugar in the body. Most people with diabetes have type2 diabetes.
Diabetes can result in the following.

  1. Too much sugar in the blood can cause heart and kidney problems, blindness, stroke, lost of foot and can even kill the person
  2. Some woman get diabetes when in pregnant because they consume excessive carbohydrate 
  3. Women with diabetes are most likely to have heart attack and have it at ayounger age
  4. Most people with diabetes die from stroke and heart attack 
so live wisely
