Electric Shock


The first thing to do is to switch off the circuit. Do not touch the affected person until this is done.
If possible to disconnect the supply ' use insulated object like dry stick or news paper to remove the person
 Simple fact about repair.

  1. First turn off the switch: it may be necessary to turn off the main switch. Do not tamper with point, fitting or fuse until you have done this.
  2. Dry your hands: do not touch electric equipment with wet hands
  3. Check cord or cable: insulated wire for wearing away, replace them if you have another one and do not repair with insulating tapes
Hints on Fuse
Fuse are safety device, if the are over loaded, the fuse melt or blow. If an electrical/ electronic equipment stop working, check the plug fuse first, is usually a claridge wire enclose in a  metal-capped tube. to do this, you only need to leave it out and put another one.
call an electrician if fuse keep blowing.

Some terms you need to know
Circuit: The complete path traveled by an electric current. The electrical circuit is control by fuse box

Amps: The amount of electric flowing in a wire is measure in Volt
            The amount of electric consume by an electric appliance when it is on is called Watts.
